Léa has been cast in the newest project by portuguese director Raoul Ruiz, a period drama titled “Débâcle“. It will be the second time that Léa works with Raoul as she also had a part in his over 4 hour long project “Mystères De Lisbonne”. The film which will center around the Battle of Bussaco, will start filming in October 2nd. Sounds exciting!
Léa was part of “Le Carrosse Noir” a 28-minute film which was released in seven episodes and was filmed in the Palm Beach Hotel in Cannes last year. It was Christian Louboutin’s original idea and was directed by Benoit Tételin. I have screencapped the short in which she appears named “Léa the conjurer”. You can watch online here.
I have finally managed to screencap my “Belle Épine” dvd so we now +1500 high quality screencaptures of it in the gallery. The film received great reviews (and in my opinion well deserved) which praised Léa’s portrayal of Prudence Friedmann which won her a César nomination. On a personal note, I found it really cute that Léa’s own mother played her character’s on-screen mom. I really enjoyed the film and I’d recommend it to everyone. If you haven’t seen it yet make sure you do as it’s a must-see for Léa fans.
Warning: The album contains film spoilers and some adult content so proceed at your own risk.
Le Forum de Bord Cadre got the first look at Benoit Jacquot’s newest project “Farewell, my Queen” which is currently being filmed and stars Léa alongside Diane Kruger, Noémie Lvovsky and Virginie Ledoyen amongst others. You can watch the video online here ! I’ve added the screencaptures to the gallery, enjoy!

Confronted with a truth they had both been escaping, Simon seeks refuge up above.
Léa posed with a hairpiece from Franck Provost’s collection especially dedicated to commemorate the 16th anniversary of the company’s collaboration with the Cannes Film Festival.
