The film received great reviews (and in my opinion well deserved) which praised Léa’s portrayal of Prudence Friedmann which won her a César nomination. On a personal note, I found it really cute that Léa’s own mother played her character’s on-screen mom. I really enjoyed the film and I’d recommend it to everyone. If you haven’t seen it yet make sure you do as it’s a must-see for Léa fans.

In other news, two of Léa’s recent projects have been released on dvd! – Belle Épine & Petit Tailleur.

As you probably already know the Cannes Film Festival opens tomorrow night with the premiere of “Midnight in Paris” and Léa is attending so expect lots of updates and pictures in the coming days. Thanks a lot for visiting!

The film which has just started filming in Switzerland is titled “L’Enfant d’en haut” (“The Child From Above”). Sounds promising!

She has also been featured in the newest issue of Purple Magazine in a stunning editorial she did for the Chanel Spring/Summer 2011 collection. If anyone has these scans in better quality, they’d be greatly appreciated!

I have also added to our gallery some new stills from “Belle Épine”, including a very beautiful but different version of the film poster. Check them out!
