Now, in Léa related news. I have added some recent scans to the gallery: Léa was on the cover of L’Express Styles and also featured in Elle Russia and the January issue of Esquire magazine (you can read the article online here). Enjoy!

“If you see me in real life,” she says, her English made alluring by a smoky French accent, “I’m not as beautiful as a model.” Which is ridiculous but also a little sweet, when you realize it comes not from false humility but overwhelming timidity.

You can read a very cute interview on their site in which she talks about how she wanted to be a baker when she was little, the directors she’s worked with, Tom Cruise and also about the newest project she stars in: a passionate love story directed by Abdellatif Kechiche.

What is the worst part of your job?
The worst part is managing my own image.

How so?
You know, I don’t feel like… Most of the actresses are like, [puts on airy, smooth voice] “Hi, hello, OK, mm-hmm, uh-huh, yeah.” I am not like that; it’s terrible. They seem like, when they do promotion, that they are in… They are like a character. They act different, and I can’t really be like that. I’m always natural, I think.

She’s on the cover of “TuStyle” with a beautiful picture taken in Cannes 2010 (such a beautiful shot, it’s hard to believe it’s a candid picture) and also a two page feature in Vanity Fair. In other news, two of Léa’s recent projects have been released on dvd! – Belle Épine & Petit Tailleur.

As you probably already know the Cannes Film Festival opens tomorrow night with the premiere of “Midnight in Paris” and Léa is attending so expect lots of updates and pictures in the coming days. Thanks a lot for visiting!

The film which has just started filming in Switzerland is titled “L’Enfant d’en haut” (“The Child From Above”). Sounds promising!

She has also been featured in the newest issue of Purple Magazine in a stunning editorial she did for the Chanel Spring/Summer 2011 collection. If anyone has these scans in better quality, they’d be greatly appreciated!

I have also added to our gallery some new stills from “Belle Épine”, including a very beautiful but different version of the film poster. Check them out!

Also, Léa is on the cover of Aeroports de Paris Magazine, a magazine which, like the title itself says, is only available in Parisian airports. If anyone could grab a copy and scan it for the site, it would be highly appreciated!
